I stuck it out and didn't test until this morning. This is what I got:
No mistaking that second line. It actually came up within 5 seconds so there is no doubt. I took this within 3 minutes and the line continued to darken. It is the same colour as the control line.
I had begun to suspect that I might get a BFP around Friday but still refused to test while I was on the road. I hadn't had any pre-AF spotting just like in February so I thought this might be a sign of a BFP. Then, I've been having crazy pain in my lower right pelvic area for about 4 days. I didn't know if that was from impending AF or if it was just a large corpus luteum.
I'm being cautiously optimistic at this point. My beta isn't until Tuesday so I have to wait for the exact numbers. But until then I'll be happy and cross my fingers that this one will stick!
OMG! That is one awesome second line!! Congrats!!! I'm so very excited for you!!
ReplyDeleteWoohooo! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteNow the waiting *really* begins! :)
Wonderful, wonderful news! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That's wonderful news!
ReplyDeleteYes Yes Yes - So happy to hear this GREAT news. I am also Extremely impressed you managed to hold out so long on your first test! - You got a real strong positive YAY! I am sure they should do studies on the type of mother who can't wait for the line (like me) It must be predictive of something!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies!!! I'm excited but I'm still feeling cautious. Not that knowing my beta # will make that go away but between now and then I'll still be wondering whether this is doing what it is supposed to.
ReplyDeleteI've just got horrible corpus luteum cramping, though. But I'm taking it as a good sign that things are still progressing.
I just don't know how I'm going to keep this quiet from my family. That was why I didn't test last week - I was at my parents' house and it would have meant letting the secret out. I wasn't ready for that. I don't like not telling the truth and this is going to be extra difficult because my mom knows what I'm doing and knows drugs are the next step.
awwwww yeeeah! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteYayy! Congrats!!! I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteYay so happy for you! I know things were pretty negative for awhile but glad to see you have a reason now to bounce out of it. Hoping things continue to go so well!
